100 Guitars = 900 Ways To Shine

When you build it, they will come, or so the saying goes.

On April 23, 2015, an historic event took place at the Ed Mirvish Theatre.

The original message was a call-out to try to gather 100 guitarists to visit the Ed Mirvish Theatre to play a piece of music along with the cast of the musical “Once”. Around midday, 926 people with guitars packed the orchestra level of the theatre and together with cast members of ONCE performed the show’s Oscar-winning song, “Falling Slowly.”

This inspirational video showcases just how powerful music really can be when like-minded individuals join together in harmony for a common purpose.
